Turn Up the Christmas Cheer: Making a Disco Christmas Ornament
Who says Christmas can't have a little disco? 🪩🎄
I love taking a digital design and turning it into something I can actually hold, decorate with, and share. That's exactly what I did with my Disco Christmas digital download!
I took one of the designs from the collection and turned it into this fun and sparkly Christmas ornament—and I have to say, I LOVE how it turned out!

From Digital Download to Christmas Ornament
One of the things I love about digital crafting is that you're not limited to using a design just one way.
You can take a digital print and turn it into something completely different depending on your creativity and the supplies you have on hand.
For this project, I wanted to take one of my Disco Christmas designs and turn it into a Christmas ornament.
And this little guy definitely needed some sparkle!
I used the disco ball with the antlers, the reindeer, Christmas tree and the snowman design to create some fun holiday ornaments
✂️ What You'll Need
Here's what I used for my ornament:
- Disco Christmas digital download
- Sturdy cardstock
- Printer
- Scissors or cutting machine
- Adhesive
- Glitter or embellishments
- Ribbon or twine for hanging
- Any additional embellishments you want to add
And of course... a little creativity! ✨
🎄 Let's Make Something!
The fun part of using digital designs is that you can make the project as simple or as detailed as you want.
I printed my design, cut out the pieces, and assembled them to create my ornament.
Then came my favorite part—adding the sparkle!
I added embellishments to give the ornament more dimension and shine. Because let's be honest... if you're making a disco Christmas ornament, there really isn't such a thing as too much sparkle. 😂✨
Once everything was assembled, I added some twine so I could hang it on the Christmas tree.
And just like that...
A digital print became a handmade Christmas ornament!
